Privacy Policy
This page documents what data this site collects, why, and how we protect it. We are an editorial site about crash games - not an operator. We do not run a casino, do not handle deposits, and do not store gambling-related personal data. Affiliate links route you to operator sites that maintain their own privacy policies, separate from ours.
Who we are
this site is an independent editorial publication operated for informational and review purposes. The publication tests crash gambling games, reviews providers, runs head-to-head comparisons, and ships two open-source utilities: a crash multiplier calculator and a provably fair verifier. The publication is not licensed as a gambling operator in any jurisdiction and does not accept wagers, deposits, or operator-side player data.
For privacy-related correspondence, write to smartseokings@gmail.com. The data controller for this publication is the editor identified on the about page.
What we collect
The publication collects the minimum data necessary to deliver the website, measure aggregate readership, and respond to direct correspondence. Concretely, three categories of data are processed:
- Server access logs. Standard web-server logs record IP address, user-agent string, requested URL, response code, referrer, and timestamp. These are automatically generated by the hosting infrastructure for security and capacity-planning purposes. Retention: 14 days, then rotated.
- Aggregate analytics. Privacy-respecting page-view counts via a self-hosted analytics layer that does not set tracking cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not transmit data to third parties. No personal identifiers are recorded; only aggregate per-URL view counts and aggregate referrer breakdowns. Retention: rolling 12 months in aggregated form.
- Email correspondence. When you write to the editor, the email contents are stored inside the editor's mail provider until the matter is closed. We do not subscribe correspondents to any newsletter without explicit opt-in.
We collect the minimum web-server logs needed to run the site, aggregate page-view counts via privacy-respecting analytics, and any emails you choose to send us. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising trackers, or behavioural fingerprinting.
What we do not collect
For clarity, the publication explicitly does not collect or store any of the following:
- Real names, postal addresses, phone numbers, or government identifiers (we have no signup form requiring them).
- Account credentials or passwords (we do not run user accounts).
- Payment instruments, deposit history, or wager records (we are an editorial publication, not an operator).
- Inputs typed into the crash calculator or provably fair verifier - these tools are entirely client-side and never transmit your inputs anywhere.
- Behavioural fingerprints across browsing sessions for retargeting advertising.
- Third-party advertising network identifiers from Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, or similar platforms.
Cookies and similar technologies
The publication uses a minimal cookie footprint. The cookies in use are documented on the dedicated cookies page. In summary, the publication sets only first-party functional cookies (language preference, dark-mode toggle if applicable). No third-party advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies are present.
The two interactive tools (crash multiplier calculator and provably fair verifier) operate without cookies. Inputs you type into either tool are processed entirely inside your browser and never leave your device.
Affiliate links and operator privacy policies
The publication earns a commission when readers sign up to operators through tracked links. When you click an affiliate link, you leave this site and arrive at an operator-controlled site. From that point onward, the operator's own privacy policy and terms of service apply. this site does not see, store, or process any data you submit at the operator: registration details, deposit amounts, gameplay history, KYC documents - none of it touches our infrastructure.
We do receive aggregate, per-affiliate-link click counts and (where the operator-side affiliate network shares it) anonymised conversion-rate data. This information cannot be used to identify individual readers and is used solely to evaluate which operators we recommend deserve continued listing.
Third parties we rely on
The publication relies on a small number of third-party services to operate. Each is listed below with the purpose and the data they receive.
- Hosting infrastructure. Static page delivery and PHP execution. Receives: IP address (necessary for HTTP request routing), browser user-agent, requested URL.
- CDN provider. Caches static assets (images, CSS, JavaScript) for global delivery. Receives: IP address.
- Email provider. Receives the contents of any email you send to the editor.
- Domain registrar. Receives no end-user data; only relevant for our own administrative purposes.
The publication does not embed Google Fonts (the typeface is served locally), does not embed YouTube videos by default, does not integrate Disqus or other comment systems that load third-party trackers, and does not relay any data to ad networks.
Your rights under GDPR and similar frameworks
Where applicable (EU/EEA, UK, Switzerland, California, Brazil, similar jurisdictions), readers have the right to:
- Request information about whether and how their personal data is processed (we hold almost none, but the right exists).
- Request deletion of any data we hold that pertains to them (in practice, only emails the reader has voluntarily sent).
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Object to processing activities they consider unlawful.
- Lodge a complaint with their national data-protection authority.
Exercise any of these rights by writing to smartseokings@gmail.com. Response time: typically 24-72 hours.
Children and underage access
The publication is intended for adults age 18 or older (21+ in jurisdictions where that is the legal gambling age, including most US states). The publication does not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we discover that a minor has corresponded with the editor, the correspondence is deleted immediately and no follow-up is sent.
For broader information about responsible gambling, including self-exclusion programmes and recognised support organisations, see the responsible gambling page.
Changes to this policy
This privacy policy is reviewed quarterly and revised whenever we make a material change to data-handling practices. The publication will not retroactively change practices in ways that reduce reader privacy without an explicit notice identifying the change. The current revision date is shown at the top of this page.
Privacy contact
For any privacy-related question, request, complaint, or correction, write to smartseokings@gmail.com. The editor responds personally; this is a small editorial publication, not a corporation with a privacy desk.
